Sarah-Elizabeth Byosiere is the Director of CUNY Hunter College’s Thinking Dog Center and an Assistant Professor within the Animal Behavior and Conservation Program in the Psychology Department. She studies animal behavior, specializing in canine behavior and cognition. Sarah’s research includes topics such as illusion susceptibility, play behavior, dog training methodologies, and animal sheltering practices. She has published her research in peer-reviewed scientific journals, presented her findings at conferences, and has been featured on NPRs Science Friday, The New York Daily News, Gizmodo, and CuriosityStream.
