María Hernández-Ojeda

Maria Hernandez-Ojeda is Associate Professor of Spanish at Hunter College-CUNY. Her research area includes the literary, historical and cultural relationship between The Canary Islands and Latin America, the cultural production of the Spanish Civil War, as well as anarchist and feminist women authors. She has published two texts on Cuban-Canarian author Nivaria Tejera, a 1912 edited novel by Juana Fernandez Ferraz, and several articles in journals such as Anuario de Estudios Atlánticos, Hispamérica e Ínsula, and others.
